Biography Jose Salgado PT, CSCS,
Clinical Director of Back In Action of Scottsdale Jose attended Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT graduating with a master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 2002. He elected to stay and work as a physical therapist in Connecticut in the field of orthopedic/sports medicine while pursuing a certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). In 2004, Jose and his wife (also a therapist) decided to follow their family and move to Gilbert, AZ focusing their practice on pediatric therapy creating their independent practice, Salgado Pediatric & Orthopedic Therapy. Jose has a passion for the field of physical therapy and for facilitating the healing process for people in pain, with injuries or disabilities. He abides by the holistic philosophy of the founder of osteopathic medicine, Dr. A.T. Still, that the body has an innate ability to heal itself and we as practitioners are facilitators of this process. In October of 2007, Jose decided to join the team at Back In Action of Scottsdale serving as physical therapist and the facility’s Clinical Director. In doing so he brings with him a holistic philosophy and expertise in spine rehabilitation, joint replacement therapy, manual techniques, and pediatric orthopedics. |
